We have seen these 'E-Skins' before, but never this thin or durable.
This 'E-Skin' Made by Takao Someya at the University of Tokyo and his team seem to be making strides in this technology as this is thinner and more durable than we've seen. It is also very flexible allowing you to move without breaking the display.
This Led display also uses less battery consumption than previous 'e-skins' allowing it to last for multiple days.
They hope to be able to use this technology for Hospital workers and Athletes, for example to see a persons pulse and display their blood oxygen concentration on their hand without having to carry around heavy devices.
They hope to expand the uses even further down the road.
